Russian ruble falls to 73 rubles per dollar on unstable oil market

MOSCOW, Dec 30 (PRIME) -- The exchange rate of the Russian ruble with tomorrow settlement sank 93 kopecks to 73.13 rubles per U.S. dollar at 11:20 a.m. Moscow time Wednesday due to unstable oil market dynamics and low market liquidity ahead of the New Year holidays, according to data of the Moscow Exchange and dealers polled by PRIME.

The ruble fell 1.01 rubles against the euro to 80.01.

Brent oil traded at around U.S. $37.3 per barrel.
